We’re excited to announce the 3rd Annual Sports Etc Goalie Summit! This unique one day event is a chance for emerging goalies to experience training from some of the best instructors in the area. This event is not geared towards beginners, but towards goalies, birth years 2007-2014, looking to take their game to the next level!
The Goalie Summit will feature instructors representing Ed Walsh Goaltending School , GDS , Shield Goaltending Academy , Bastoni Goaltending, Top Of The Crease Goaltending, and Gera Goaltending. There will also be an off-ice goalie equipment expo with representatives from Bauer, Brian’s, CCM, True, Vaughn, and Warrior.
We’re happy to announce that Rei Halloran, 2026 Olympian for Team Japan Women’s Hockey, will be an instructor at the Summit courtesy of Shield Goaltending. Rei is an accomplished goalie at the College and International level as well as an experienced instructor
Goalies will be broken up into 2 groups. This will allow all goalies time to partake in the goalie expo as well as to speak to the instructors. Each group will also have keynote speaker discussing the path to playing at the next level, with a focus on the path towards college hockey.
Every goalie will receive a “swag bag” which includes a $50 Sports Etc discount card and other awesome items
Check-in will begin at 11:30 AM. Goalies in Group 1 should be dressed and ice ready by 12:15 PM while goalies in Group 2 can enjoy the goalie gear expo
